Collaboration with Gong lab accepted at JACS

Shu’s collaboration with our amazing colleagues in Hokkaido has led to a new paper just accepted at JACS.  The paper, “Effect of the Activation Force of Mechanophore on Its Activation Selectivity and Efficiency in Polymer Networks,” describes a really nice experimental study that shows how differences in mechanophore reactivity can impact the molecular fracture path in polymer materials — in this case, the context is a double network hydrogel.
