RSC Horizons Prize

Nine current or former members of the lab are among members of the NSF Center for the Chemistry of Molecularly Optimized Networks who have been recognized with the Materials Chemistry Horizon Prize from the Royal Society of Chemistry.  The prize recognizes the team’s success in “demonstrating mechanophore effects in polymer network properties.” The Horizon Prizes highlight exciting, contemporary chemical science at the cutting edge of research and innovation. These prizes are for groups, teams and collaborations of any form or size who are opening up new directions and possibilities in their field, through groundbreaking scientific developments. The team receives a trophy and a video showcasing their work, and each team member receives a certificate.
