2013 Articles Receive Notice

Two Nature Chemistry articles published in 2013 have received significant media and social media attention, according to their Altimetrics as posted on the Nature Chemistry website.  Hope’s article, “A Backbone Lever-Arm Effect Enhances Polymer Mechanochemistry” is in the 95th percentile in terms of media/social media attention, out of >10,000 articles of a similar age, and in the 74th percentile among articles published in Nature Chemistry.  Ashley’s article “Mechanochemical Strengthening of a Synthetic Polymer in Response to Typically Destructive Shear Forces” is in the 96th percentile overall and in the 86th of those article published in Nature Chemistry.
